At the start of their debut album tour “Let’s Stand Together” in March 2020, on returning from Madrid Bobby & Steve both contracted Covid-19.They were both placed in induced comas and as a result of this Steve has been diagnosed with a rare brain injury called Acute Hemorrhagic Leukoencephalitis (AHLE-aka-Hurst disease) and is in a neurological care home / hospital.
Continuing the Legacy
Initially, Bobby was not going to carry on without his twin brother, but ultimately made the decision to continue carrying on the legacy of the dynamic duo whilst waiting for Steve to fully recover and rejoin the movement. In 2021, Bobby launched the 'Dance For Stevie' brand, a fundraiser for Steve's future care and rehabilitation. This initiative sees the return of their legendary Garage City party, bridging music with a purpose.
